  2. Stress and Health

Dr Burzynski movie (FULL VERSION) http://www.youtube.c...h?v=H0ibsoqjPac The Great Cancer Hoax: The Brilliant Cure the FDA Tried Their Best to Shut Down... Dr. Burzynski has found a cure for cancer but then was ridiculed for his research. His work was then stolen by a former employee who now works for the opposition. He patented his work, but then the FDA re-patented the same thing so that they could benefit from his findings and make a profit off it, ripping him off royally. Then, if that wasn't bad enough, he now has to find $300 million for stage 3 testing, putting this out of his reach of ever being able to say he was the originator of the findings and research. He has tested his work on lots of people who are now cancer-free and leading normal lives, thanks to him. Only those who had chemo and radio therapy prior to using Dr. Burzynski's method didn't seem to fair as well. A long video, but well worth the watch.

  4. Thoughts on Fire Vol.2 By Leon Basin (Download it for free!)

I am finding my way around this wonderful forum and have landed here! It is almost 06:00 here in Liverpool, England, and I have only read "Moving As Water" and "Wise Man", and I can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed both journeys! I love water, and find that when I am near water, say a lake or river, that I feel a deep calming come over me. Now I can add a new meditation based upon the first piece of writing! Wise Man, is also a very in depth look at the inner mysteries of our being, I will retun and read again after I have had some well needed sleep! Due to certain health problems I am often up throughout the night, and at this point I am so tired, but I wanted to post before I retired! Namaste, Lenny

  8. Taoism and Heavy Metal Music

Ahh! some Leonard Cohen fans I see! Brilliant! When I was 12 I was introduced to Leonard Cohen, the album was Songs of Love and Hate(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Songs_of_Love_and_Hate); instantly I fell in love with Cohen's voice and lyrics! However it wasn't until 2008 that I first saw this humble genius live in Birmingham, UK! Whe LC was touring in the UK I was away and so missed my chances to see him then, and then last yr LC came to Liverpool and I saw him again! I have been truly blessed!!! My favorite Cohen song is Ballad of the Absent Mare:- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yp7XP37vgU0 Such a beautiful song. From the album Recent Songs(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recent_Songs), and in my humble opinion a masterpiece!!! Namaste, Lenny
  9. Taoism and Heavy Metal Music

What a great thread! I am still enjoying my metal music and I am in my 50th yr of Earth Life!!! I remember my Mum telling me when I was 17 I'd grow out of it!!! OOPS!!! Sorry Mum, I'm still going strong! One of top 5 all time bands are Magnum who hail from Birmingham in the UK, they are not metal, but progressive/pomp rock; the songwriter is the very talented Tony Clarkin. They have been around for at least 30 yrs, and here is a cracking song by the guys Song is "On A Storytellers Night". Also in the same vein as Magnum are Marillion, and their former singer Fish who has his own band. Both are well worth listening to. Turning up the volume and my all time number 1 favorite band are Judas Priest! These guys are the Metal Gods, and know how to rock and put on a great show! My favorite songs include, The Sinner, Victim of Changes, Beyond The Realms of Death, Metal Gods, Nostradamus and Before The Dawn. Great energy boosting music! Other bands I listen to include Pantera, RATM, SOAD, Metallica, The Doors, Slayer and UFO. Sometimes I listen to heavy metal when I'm writing my poetry as I find it helps me to stay in the creative zone, plus the changing emotions that come from the music are constructive for my writing. Thanks to Oleg for starting this thread off! Namaste, Lenny
  10. in a chilled mood:-)

  11. Please say hello if popping by!!!

  12. Howdy y'all

Hi Brian, very interesting read indeed! Look forward to more! I'm Lenny, a hippy poet from Liverpool, UK. Totally new to this but feel this is where I should be. I particularly liked what you said about "feeling" the trees, and grass having a presence. I enjoy taking our pet pooch of 15 yrs for a hobble around the block(I am the one hobbling not Pippa!!!)and I always talk with the trees and can feel their presence, so its great knowing that others also share in this. Namaste, Lenny
  13. New Arrival

Hello Oleg, I will certainly give the I Ching a read. Namaste, Lenny
  14. New Arrival

I was fortunate to Lenny live in concert in 2008 & 2009, I had given up on Lenny touring so when he announced he was back on the road I was overjoyed! When LC did come over here in the UK in the 70's & 80's I was on tour with my own band! I have all his records and books and my wife Nikki has done a charcoal portrait and abstract of the great wordsmith! Plus she has spoilt me with further LC based gifts that are really special! Great to meet another fan of LC's!!!
  15. New Arrival
