You are indeed wise, Mal. I became "one" with the mat on many, many occasions thus leading to the surgeries. I also became proficient at "tapping out". If I'd only stuck with Tai Chi instead! I miss martial arts a lot and am looking for a new low impact type class as we speak (write?).

When I catch myself stressing, obsessing, etc. I try to tell myself, "These thoughts are just like clouds passing by". It seems to calm things in my noggin a bit.
