  1. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Hello everyone!!! It has been a long time that i didnt come to this forum, i can see that the community is still very active 😃. I practiced Flying phoenix chi kung for almost 2 years, ten years back, and i stopped after for some personal issues. I gave it another try the past few days, and i can feel almost immediately the nice feeling that it gives, calming, reassuring, sensé of peace and clarity, it feels like an old friend. I came here as well because I had a question related to the sport i am practicing, i am a fencer, and i was wondering if maybe Sifu Terry knew some systems that could help to be more efficient in this sport, i guess it's not that far from kung fu, you have to have a great deal of agility, speed, réflexs and accuracy if you want to be in the zone to face your opponent. Thanks in advance, Best to all of you. Keep the spirit alive

I'm sure it's okay to extend it to this amount of time, if your form feels smooth and if the FP energy is with you during the practice. But I haven't learned the long form yet, so I can't be that sure, I can just say that sometimes I do some of the MSW and it takes me more than one hour to complete 7 reps, and it feels really really good. I feel like it makes me progress a lot when I can almost reach that state where you can't really say if I'm moving or not, at first it may be almost like a work out, my muscles got really tensed and sore, but with the time and practice it just becomes natural, and that gets integrated, and now my form seems more solid, as if my body really knows the moves, before sometimes, "he" was trying to approximate some parts, but now "he" knows the way better. Hello everyone, I just sent an email to Sifu Terry about several things, and he told me to post it on the forum, so the answers to my questions could benefit to everybody on the FP forum. So here it is. I just pasted the whole mail Hello Sifu Terry, I just wanted to send you a little email to tell you that my FP is really rocking these days, I'm practicing 3-4 hours everyday and in the evening when my room is dark and when I get out of the meditation I have my whole vision field that is flickering like flashing light, and I see as if the room is made of pixels, its happened too me several times, and I get really relaxed sometimes during the meditation the inner peace seems to grow, I found out that my favorite is the warm up 50 30 10 =), and my BTB is improving too, it's a really good exercice for conditioning, it makes me sweat a lot. I think that polyp was really affecting my immune system, and it seems really better now. I still have a slight oppression feeling sometimes, but it's almost nothing compared to what it was before, and it shift sometimes to a feeling like it's difficult to digest. So I'm still working on that, but I'm sure time will make everything perfect. =) By the way I have a little question for you, I'm gonna take part soon to a "shamanic meeting" don't know how to call, it's for the autumn equinox, I already went last year, and it was really great I loved the brotherhood spirit and connection with everybody, and I was wondering if it would be a problem if I practice FPCK during those days, because I remember reading that it's not recommended to practice in places renowned to be spiritually active, and I guess this kind of event might be. All of those positive energies I'm getting these days, really makes me want to invest more of my time in internal energies cultivations systems, and I think I'd like to learn kung-fu, so I think I'll pm soon for kung fu and FP sessions =), Thank you again for making FP accessible to every genuine spiritual seeker, I'm really grateful for that, really. Best Aurélien

Hello guys, Don't forget to put your name, and location, if you want to join the wolrdwide FP group session that will take place tomorrow, it happens once a week, and everybody is welcome, beginners or advanced practionners. This event is an opportunity to experience what it feels like to practice FPCK within a group, even though practionners aren't in the same location, it doesn't matter. Remember that FPCK is cumulative and the more practionners there is and the more there will be energy.http://thetaobums.com/topic/33820-flying-phoenix-worldwide-events/page-7 Hope to "see" some of you Best Aurélien

I'm sure in some cases competition can have a positive outcome. Some people may need more motivation to stay on the path more than others. And here my proposition is only because I think everyone could benefit from it, not because I want to find out who is the best, if somebody thinks the sand dune speed is for example 7 reps of MSW1 in 25 min and somebody said it takes him 50 min, he might want to try to move slower and realizes that it improves his form and its cultivation level. Spirituality doesn't have to be a particular way, we can spice it up with a little bit of fun, and it's a good way to connect everybody on this forum too.

Hello guys, Tomorrow because it's Friday, there is the FP group session, and we're going to focus on the "sand dune speed" so only 4 meds in 1 hour, so we take as much time as necessary, we're not in a hurry, the last meditation is a MSW so if you want to take 60 min to complete it that's up to you. I think one day we should organize a competition of MSW, with the goal of moving as slow as possible, and see how long it take us.Just saying I'm sure it can be fun. http://thetaobums.com/topic/33820-flying-phoenix-worldwide-events/page-7 Please put your name and location if you want to join Best, Aurélien
