the moon was great last night, its getting to be a little sliver, so since I gave my telescope to my brother & fam up north, I told them this is the best time to get out the strong lens and watch the shadow creep across the landscape :D it is one of the coolest things to watch, ever

Those living in the northern hemisphere might find the following info very handy:

Full Moon: February 3, 6:09 pm.

It's the Snow Moon. February's full Moon is traditionally called the "Full Snow Moon" because usually the heaviest snows fall in February.

Hunting becomes very difficult, and so some Native American tribes called this the Hunger Moon. Other Native American tribes called this Moon the "Shoulder to Shoulder Around the Fire Moon" (Wishram Native Americans), the "No Snow in the Trails Moon" (Zuni Native Americans), and the "Bone Moon" (Cherokee Native Americans). The Bone Moon meant that there was so little food that people gnawed on bones and ate bone marrow soup.

Yes kidney energy is strong, just meditate more and try to eat less. Of course, sex is a no-no thing during this time if you happen to be a no celibate practitioner as sexual activity is very draining and during this time you want to nourish yourself with the extra kidney boost rather than waste it in order to satisfy the lower self/animal side in human.
