Iron Hand development

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zmxhYDvXdGk This guy is good. I watched his vids when i was learning

yes HE is the rod i was referring to !

he makes good jow and ages it b4 he sells it.

not that many jows can be used right away or even in less than a year.

i never use anything aged less than 2 years

"notice where rod had broken" so actually rod's breaks were where scott began and built upon.

also you may want to pm me

edit>. i also like shanes backhand slap where he breaks 2 blocks while holding an egg in the striking hand without breaking the egg. breaking blocks is addictive, it costs $$ and remember the backlash i mentioned.

in lee ying-arngs book iron palm in 100 days lee tells of a roommate he had who could break a red brick after a month of practice, good right? except it also caused heart damage.

Well if anyone wants the recepe i can post it. Its not cheap to make specially if ya use a shit jar and lose 2 bottles of vodka (used 5 or so all up i think +2) Its pretty strong can feel ya hands tingling after use. Good to have plenty so ya don't be tight with it :)

Please :).

Also if you happen to have the chinese characters for the herbs that would definitely rock.

To bad herb season has pretty much ended for the year, nice to get some of them fresh.

Just go to the herb shop in Chinatown, that's all i did. They can crush it all up for ya too. I will message you the ingredients and how to do it when i get a chance on my home pc tomorrow. Pretty much just like boiling herbs to drink but in alcohol.

What, you mean I don't need to use my magic bullet for them all?! I do get them to powder up my ginseng though. Magic bullets even grind up roots though, pretty handy, and much larger than a coffee grinder.

My TCM friend and I will have fun with this :).

Here is the receipe, I put it here so anybody can make it....

It makes about 1 gallon, around 4L. You need alcohol about 40%/vol, 37% would be fine.

Print out the list of ingredients and just take it to the local chinese herb shop. If they don't have them all try different shops to get the missing ingredients. Get them to grind them all up so that they reduce their chemicals more easily. The herbs here cost me about $30 bucks. The alcohol was the most expensive part.

Vodka comes in 700ml bottles in Australia, so i got 3, then the best way using common chemistry knowledge is to bring to just before the boil, then put the herbs in. Keep in the glass jar for about a month, shaking it every day. Good to keep it warm near a heater in winter. The warmer you keep it the better. I wouldn't recommend boiling it because sometimes it can damage the herbs, plus you will be boiling off alcohol from the mix which is a preservative. After one month, pour the liquid off, then bring to just before the boil another 2 bottles of spirit. Mix with the herbs and again store in a jar and shake every day, for a further 2 months. Then mix the two batches together.

The liquid alcohol part is the good part you want to keep and use in your iron palm training. Don't be tight with it, use plenty on your hands AND wrists. Even apply twice, the whole point of using it is to increase healing, no point being tight with it and having sore hands.

You can store it for as long as you want with the herbs still in it and it will keep getting stronger, but using the method explained already, i got rid of the herbs and just kept the Dit Da Jiu (Jiu means alcohol in Chinese - often written as Dit Da Jao) after 3 months and it was plenty strong enough.

NOTE 1: Do not use a metal spoon or metal saucepan. Use glass or ceramic, metal will react with the herbs.

NOTE 2: IMPORTANT don't use a cheapo big jar from the $2 shop, they crack when you pour in the hot vodka and you lose all your precious vodka (almost bought tears to my eyes - undrinkable with broken glass in it!). I ended up just using several smaller jars that my wife had bought various chinese foods in, from the Chinese supermarket. Anything decent that stored food in from the supermarket would be fine.

NOTE 3: The stuff stinks so don't train just before bed or you'll stick out the bed, iron palm is useless against angry wife.

NOTE 4: For external use ONLY. Some of the herbs are worms. You don't want to be eating those. Also i can only imagine it would be like deep heat on sensitive areas, so i wouldn't try using it to develop iron crotch.

... And here's what happens if you take it to the extreme

I don't think that's cool, thats just stupid deforming your body like that. Does it mean you are invincible? No it just means you can smash stuff with you're hand. There's more to martial arts than than. You need to have tough hands, good strike, timing, distance control, strength to deliver the attack. That sure is a real iron palm, but if i was fighting a dude with one hand that much bigger than the other i would sure make sure i got out the way of attacks from that hand haha.

Do you happen to have the Chinese character version of this? They aren't going to be able to read this in chinatown, so thought I would ask.

Also, do you (nearly) boil the roots first in the booze, then add the leaves after? Also how long do you (nearly) boil for?

haha Of course they can read it it's Pinyin! If they can't read it you've found an illiterate Chinese. Chinese learn pinyin before they learn their own Chinese characters in grade 1 or 2. That's right, they use the romanization of their language to help them learn how to speak their traditional simplified Chinese characters. I taught at several primary, middle, high schools and universitys there in China for almost 3 years.

No just chuck it all in together. When it's all ground up you're not going to know what's a leaf and what's a root. You're not nearly boiling the herbs at all, the warm alcohol is just to get it started, the real transfer of the essence of the herbs comes in the 3 month period of soaking at room temperature. The stove is off before the alcohol and herbs are mixed together.

Perhaps these days, but I have yet to find folks in chinatown here who can read english letters. Considering they read the newspapers (with chinese characters I don't think illiterate; perhaps things were different 40-50 years ago in China? My pronunciation isn't very good, so it's really funny when I try to say the names of herbs LOL. I will just google the chinese characters, that is what I usually do, then hold up my cel phone so they can see them ;).

Thanks :). Another question, will rum work? I tend to use rum for most herbal stuff, so thought I would ask.

Btw, I use those organic apple juice gallon jars for such things, works really well.

It wont matter what alcohol you use just whatever is cheapest and its around 40%. Metho would dry out your skin too much so i wouldn't use that. I would be careful trying to translate into Chinese characters because there are no accents on the pinyin and its not a 1 to 1 translation so you will likely get the wrong words. Just take the pinyin list to the shop, in sure somebody will be able to read it. If not try another shop... I've had no problem from 3/3 shops

You asked for some information about Iron Crotch

It is extremely powerful for the health.

You really build your testosterone and strengthen the internal organs like kidneys etc.

There are many different exercises and over time you can really improve your sexual functioning.

With such a strong base, your spiritual development has a very stable ground.

I once asked for help on this topic, and I really do not believe it is neccessary or that everyone desires a teacher for everything.

I can understand why people wish to learn things on their own.

Iron crotch can definately be learned from what I can share

In regards to the tantra exercises.

I can give various secrete techniques to really prolong the length of time before you ejaculate during sex, and some basic exercises to enjoy sex more and even understand your sexuality so there may be less inclination to cheat or act out sexually.

Personally I believe this information is gold, as evidenced by the fact that some people charge thousands for this kind of information and some wont even share it at all
