what is a real beer and what is illusion?

Recommended Posts

one drinks a real beer now while the illusion of a beer in the future will never reach the mouth.

(edit: besides the emptiness of holes in Swiss cheese make it useful)

The beer in the hand is real.

The beer in the commercial

with its glitz and girls is an illusion.

A truly real beer gives you the illusion it is a real beer...

I could name a few but then I'd be simply sharing my illusions ;)

If an audible burp does not accompany the first long gulp, its not real beer.

Beer is form, the burp... empty. They co-arise. :D

they say open source software is free as in speech, but not as in beer.

is the beer one brews any more real than the beer one is given?

or is the illusion merely that those molecules ever belonged to anyone?

does the beer found in the mysterious pass taste any fresher or free-er?

The beer that can be named is not the real beer,

but the beer that can be drunk

is satisfying and refreshing.

malt is the yin

hops is the yang

water is the essence

and yeast is the spirit.

Drinking enough real beer will get one drunk but having the illusion of drinking beer will lead to only more illusions.

does a real human get drunk on illusory beer, or does all that swaying and near toppling only appear as drunkenness to those who do not see beyond the illusion?

I think I am drinking a real beer because it tastes delicious...but then I remember that everything is an illusion and I realize I don't understand anything.

if a beer drinker falls to the ground on the earth will it cause a ripple all over the universe compared to astronauts who drink but never fall?

unreal beer, real thirst?

slaked thirst and a slanted mind.

who's to say what's real?

The Moody Blues tried to address that question...
