Proving Breathless State to Medical Community

"So if the glowing auras seen in Kirlian photography arent really caused by something spiritual, paranormal or our life-energy then what are they caused by?"

The answer is water.

The high-voltage frequency applied to the metal plate rips the electrons off of atoms. The air around the photographed object becomes ionized. If that air contains any water, the resulting image will show the glowing silhouette around the object, which scientists actually call a corona plasma discharge."]]]]

Myth not revealed - scientific promulgation revealed.

Their are several things called. Kirilian Photography but in the version with a plate I do not think you have read the Phantom Leaf phenomenon.

In the phenomenon half of the leaf is cut away prior to any photography.

In about 1 out of every 100 photos taken of half a leaf, the entire leaf shows up in the K photo.

This is not explained to anyone's satisfaction in the scientific community by anything - because the only obvious conclusion is fraud and that has been tested by the vary institutions intending to prove fraud and they have done the opposite - they have replicated the result.

Also, I don't know where this is from, I don't think I wrote it, and I don't know what you're referring to by it.

You said:

"Information can and should be put out there, all information, in my opinion, but information regarding practices that are believed to be potentially dangerous should be disseminated with overt, explicit warnings, along the lines of "many faux practices spout warnings as a ploy to draw people in, to make people think that they're powerful when they're not, however, THESE practices really are dangerous if not preceded with X amount of months of Y." etc. "

I do believe this is utterly naive as I have said before - however your rebuff of this statement was not addressing this quote but ones in which you do not use "all information" and the inclusive All word made all the difference.

In your rebuff you state:

"Additionally, I never actually said that "their there should not be secret teaching that is reserved for certain levels".

You may also wish to reread your quote again:

The Catholic Church pretty well illustrates how absolutely wrong the idea is of putting explicit instruction out on the dangers of something like these secrets. The Catholic Church manufactures the most perverted twisted sexual outlook of any Large religion in the world - it has extolled the horrors of sex to the point that everyone in the church is mesmerized by it.

Satay:

Also, I don't know where this is from, I don't think I wrote it, and I don't know what you're referring to by it. ]]]

With regard to the Catholic Church - it was not a quote from you - it was an explanation from me asking you to re- read your post.

The idea of posting warning signs on secrets is akin to what has been the case of sexual interest and perversion among Catholics in response to the many warning signs they post about sex - it attracts people like addicts to sugar.

Also in your response you make the idea of needed " secrets" to be something like "telling someone how to drive but keeping how to use the brakes a secret" (paraphrased) and that is a Rush Limbaugh trick - absolutely everything needed to Drive in the car of meditation and spiritual pursuit is out there for all to see in plain sight. Nothing hidden is in any way shape or form even remotely close to the necessity of knowing where the brake is when driving an actual car or a metaphorical one.

I also brought up Milrepa and just exactly how secret teaching can be completely mishandled.

From your understanding you have nothing to do with magic and were not talking about magic.

What do you think constitutes this type of "Magic"?

There was Ram Bahadur Bomjon, aka "the Buddha boy" - I think the discovery channel made a documentary about him. Even his amazing feats of meditation did not rouse that much interest from the scientific community or the wider population in the West.

Yup.

There've been various teachers in the last several decades who could do miraculous things. Surprisingly, it doesn't get them much attention from either the scientific community nor hardly in attracting students. ... or they attract kinds of attention they didn't want, and so stop.
