RIP Electric Bike

Recommended Posts

GP - could we get a picture of your bike?

Does it look like a bike or a scooter with pedals ?

Thats one way to get a low centre of gravity.

Seven of the ten batteries in my Electric Honda are mounted so the the bottom of the batteries are about an inch and a half below axel level.

All fixed.

Collected the bike this morning.

It looks and runs like new.

Complementary bike valet service with every service which was a nice surprise.

It is shinier now than ever it was.

Ended up with a 'new generation' battery which according to the specs should be an improvement on the original model which were "prone to problems".

My old one had swollen to the extent that it had stuck fast into the holder.

These new ones don't do that according to the bike mechanic.

That is one busy dealership considering it's a guy and his mate working out of a double garage.

Nice to come across lads who are obviously happy in and committed to their jobs.

Genuinely enthusiastic for electric transport they were.

:)

May I suggest a change of thread title then? Something like ; ' Resurrection Cycles' .

Have fun with your blinged bike :) .

RIP = Radically Improved Performance. :)

I thought it was Rogered In Posterior ... those hard bike saddles you know.

Gel my friend.

Gel saddle.

:)

The Ezee bike has a saddle as big as a steak house dinner plate and far more forgiving.

I did buy and still own a pair of Lycra cycling shorts with a foam pad in the gusset but once on was quite enough.

Nasty!

Road bike 'razor blade' super skinny carbon fibre saddles, now those are for masochists.

There's unforgiving!

Yep, the repair guy threw in a free valet.

You should have seen the state of it when I took it in.

It's muddy again now.
